Auremont FAQ
Auremont FAQ
Ordering & Production Turnaround
What is your standard turnaround time?
Our standard production turnaround time is 7 to 14 business days for custom orders. This timeline officially begins once two requirements are fulfilled: your 100% upfront invoice payment is cleared, and your digital design/thread sample proof is fully approved. Bulk contract orders exceeding 100 pieces may require 14 to 21 business days. Our retail orders typically ship within 2-3 business days after procesing.
Can I place a rush order?
Yes! If you need your project completed faster than our standard window, we offer express scheduling based on machine availability:
-
3 to 5 Day Turnaround: Subject to a 25% rush fee on the project total.
-
24 to 48 Hour Turnaround: Subject to a 50% to 100% rush fee (available only for in-stock blanks or items physically in our shop).
Why do you require 100% payment upfront?
Because every item we decorate undergoes permanent custom modification to your exact branding specifications, garments cannot be returned to wholesale distributors or resold if an order is altered. Requiring full payment upfront ensures your blank materials are secured instantly and lock into our production schedule without delay.
Artwork, Stitches, & Logos
What is "Digitizing" and do I need it?
Digitizing is the highly skilled process of converting your digital image file (like a .PNG or vector .AI) into a specialized machine language file (typically .DST or .EMB) that instructs our multi-head embroidery needles exactly where to jump, stitch, and drop thread. Every custom logo must be digitized. We charge a simple, one-time $30.00 setup and digitizing fee per new artwork logo. Once digitized, your file is saved in our system forever and can be reused on future orders with no setup cost.
What artwork file format should I send?
High-resolution vector formats like .AI, .EPS, or .SVG provide the cleanest translations. If vector art is unavailable, we can accept crisp, high-resolution .PNG or .JPG images.
Are there limitations on what can be embroidered?
Embroidery uses physical needles and real thread, meaning it translates designs differently than paper printing. Very thin lines, tiny text (smaller than 0.25 inches tall), color gradients, and photographic details do not translate directly into clean stitches and may need to be simplified by our artists during proofing.
How many thread colors can I include in my logo?
Our commercial machinery can shift and blend up to 15 distinct solid thread colors seamlessly per individual design run.
Garments & Placement
What is your baseline stitch cap per location?
Our competitive bulk pricing matrix natively includes up to 10,000 stitches for your 1st location (such as a standard left-chest crest or front hat panel). For secondary accent locations (sleeves, cuffs, hat sides, or back collars), our pricing covers up to 5,000 stitches per spot. Any ultra-dense, heavy background-fill graphics that exceed these limits will automatically trigger a linear per-1,000-stitch runtime charge.
Can you embroider on thin t-shirts or performance wear?
Yes, but with design constraints. Heavy, solid-filled, dense embroidery logos will pull on lightweight, stretchy performance fabrics, causing the garment to warp or "puckering" around the edge. For thin t-shirts, we highly recommend keeping designs small, clean, or text-focused. Heavy chest shields or expansive structural logos are best reserved for thick cotton sweatshirts, polo shirts, outerwear jackets, or hats.
Can I supply my own clothing blanks for you to decorate?
Yes! We accept brand-new, unworn customer-supplied garments for customization runs. Please note that customer-supplied apparel batches are subject to our contract decoration rates and standard industry 2% production spoilage allowance rules.
